Hangzhou Airport Team celebrated its 3rd Anniversary and Star Alliance's 18th Birthday

The Star Alliance Airport Team (SAAT) in Hangzhou, China celebrated its 3rd Anniversary and Star Alliance's 18th birthday by organising a “Star Day" during which they interacted with passengers at Hangzhou International Airport (HGH).

The main carriers participated in this event were Air China, Eva Air and All Nippon Airways (ANA). About 445 passengers were given information on Star Alliance and about 120 passengers were invited to participate in a fun quiz winning prizes and giveaways from Star Alliance and member carriers.

“Special activities organised at the check-in counters and the boarding gates not only strengthened the relationship among Star Alliance member carriers but also promoted passenger's awareness of Star Alliance benefits and its branding," said Jun Chen, HGH SAAC, Vice General Manager of Air China Zhejiang Branch. “This is a great opportunity for us to celebrate our 3rd year set-up anniversary of HGH SAAT and the Alliance's 18th Anniversary."
