Star Alliance sees rapid expansion in San Jose

FRANKFURT, July 27 - San José International Airport, serving California tech hotspot Silicon Valley, is looming larger on the Star Alliance network.

Lufthansa started to serve SJC on July 1, and will be followed by Air China on September 1. With Air Canada, ANA and United already online this brings the new total to five Star Alliance member airlines online.
