Delta to boost 'peak-day seats' at Seattle, Boston hubs
Delta is building on the substantial investments at its Seattle and Boston hubs. Delta said Tuesday that it will increase its "peak-day seats" at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport by 10% for summer 2018. The growth is driven by the addition of 3 new destinations, more flights and larger aircraft operating between existing routes. Delta's growth in the Pacific Northwest is no accident. The airline opened a 21,000-square-foot Delta Sky Club — the third largest Sky Club in Delta's system — in late 2016. In 2017, the Port of Seattle broke ground on a new international arrivals facility, of which Delta will be the largest user. "In 2012, we made a commitment to be Seattle's global airline, and we are delivering with our sixth straight year of growth," said a Delta VP. <br/>
