American Airlines, Uber forge partnership
American Airlines and ride-hailing company Uber announced a partnership Thursday that aims to make it easier to get picked up at nearly a dozen airports around the country. The partnership will add functionality to American's smartphone app to guide passengers to specific Uber pickup locations at 11 major airports in cities including Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City. American is also offering a $25 Uber coupon for AAdvantage Executive Platinum members who hold that status as of March 1. Customers who use the company's AAdvantage Aviators Mastercard to pay for Uber rides will also receive two additional bonus miles for every $1 spent from now through July 31.<br/>
