Etihad Aviation Group reshuffles management structure

The Etihad Aviation Group board of directors announced on Sunday the appointment of James Hogan as the business’ president and CEO. Hogan has served as Etihad Airways’ president and CEO since September 2006, and his latest appointment is part of a new management structure for Etihad Aviation Group, according to a statement. Under Hogan’s leadership, the key Etihad Aviation Group functions will be led by James Rigney as group CFO, Kevin Knight as group chief strategy and planning officer, Ray Gammel as group chief people and performance officer, and Robert Webb as group chief information and technology officer. Replacing Hogan as CEO of Etihad Airways will be Peter Baumgartner who will have overall responsibility for Flight Operations, Safety and Quality, Guest Services, Aviation Security, Sales, Network Operations, Etihad Airways Marketing, Etihad Airport Services — Ground, and Etihad Airport Services — Catering.<br/>
