Airline: "Travel to the US while you’re still allowed to'
The US presidential election is always followed closely around the world. That's especially so this year following the unusually contentious campaign that culminates with Tuesday’s election. It’s even catching the attention of the global airline industry, where Royal Jordanian Airlines rolled out an ad on Tuesday playing off the US election. The airline rolled out a list of sale fares to its US destinations along with the tagline: “Just in case he wins … Travel to the US while you’re still allowed to.” The ad, of course, is a not-so-subtle reference to Republican candidate Donald Trump’s campaign pledge to ban Muslims from entering the United States. Royal Jordanian is the major international carrier of Jordan, a Middle East nation that has Muslim-majority population.<br/>
