Jet Airways is planning to start direct flights to Amsterdam and Paris as the airline intends to deepen its partnership with Air France-KLM group and Delta Airlines as it tries to chart a network operation independent of Etihad Airways. Industry sources say that jet Airways has finalised plans of a direct flight from Bengaluru to Amsterdam and from Chennai to Paris. The airline is likely to commence operations on these routes from early winter schedule and will use the Airbus A330 aircraft. “Jet Airways has secured slots at Schiphol (Amsterdam) and Charles de Gaul (Paris) airports for both the flights and are in final stages of preparation,” said a person aware of the developments. Currently, Jet Airways has a direct flight to Amsterdam from Delhi and Mumbai. <br/>
