American Airlines employees remain concerned about Twin Hill uniforms

After 9 months of insisting problematic Twin Hill uniforms were here to stay, American Airlines abruptly reversed course last week and said it would begin the search for a new vendor to supply new uniforms to more than 70,000 American Airlines frontline employees. The news, on its surface, appeared to be a victory for thousands of American Airlines employees and union leaders who fought for months to get the airline to recall the uniforms. Even though AA management has changed its mind about keeping the Twin Hill uniforms, employees remain concerned about the Twin Hill uniforms that many workers likely will continue to wear for 2 to 3 years. That is how long AA estimates it will take to select a new uniform supplier, make any design and fabric changes needed, and then manufacture new. <br/>
