Delta Air Lines said late Saturday it was resuming normal operations at its Atlanta hub, after a snowstorm forced it to cancel about 375 flights in and out of there earlier in the day. The cancellations came on top of more than 1,000 flights scrubbed Friday because of the early-season snowstorm. The airline said winter weather in the south was tapering off, but that de-icing was underway in the Northeast, where additional snowstorms were settling in. To minimise delays, Delta said it would restrict unaccompanied minors from connecting to other flights in Atlanta through Saturday, and at Boston and New York-area airports through Sunday. Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International was experiencing the highest number of cancellations in the US Saturday, followed by Baltimore/Washington International. <br/>
