Mexico’s Interjet expands interline agreements with JAL

Interjet Airlines expanded its passenger connections across the Pacific Aug 7 with the announcement the carrier has established a bilateral interline agreement with Japan Airlines. The development comes almost a month after Interjet agreed to bilateral interlinear connectivity with Lufthansa Group. With the Japan Airlines agreement, passengers on Interjet and JAL flights connecting at Dallas-Fort Worth International, Los Angeles International, and Vancouver International will be able to purchase a single ticket for flights on either airline, with straight-through baggage checking and simpler transfers at the connecting airports. Interjet has codeshare agreements in place with American Airlines, Iberia and LATAM. <br/>
