American Airlines expanding in-flight live-TV offering
American Airlines is going wide with live-streaming TV on both domestic and international flights. The said it has activated free live TV on 100 domestic aircraft, with plans to extend the live-TV offering and high-speed internet across its entire mainline narrow-body fleet of more than 700 aircraft during 2019. American is partnering with Dish Network on its live-television offering, which will include 12 channels — Bravo, CBS, ESPN, Fox, NBC, TNT and USA Network, among them. All channels will stream directly to passengers’ laptops, phones or tablets free of charge and will be available gate to gate, AA said. Passengers also can access a line-up of free entertainment, including hundreds of movies and on-demand television shows. <br/>
