LOT to increase US frequencies as more 787-9s arrive in 2019

LOT Polish Airlines plans to increase frequencies on its North American routes as the Warsaw-based carrier takes delivery of four more Boeing 787-9s in 2019. Starting from June 2019, the additional flights include: Warsaw-Toronto (Canada) frequencies to increase from 9X- to 12X-weekly; Warsaw-Los Angeles (California) services to increase from 6X- to 7X-weekly; Warsaw-Newark (New Jersey) services to increase from 4X- to 5X-weekly; and<br/>New 4X-weekly Warsaw-Miami (Florida) services to launch June 1. The Star Alliance member’s long-haul fleet comprises eight 252-seat Boeing 787-8s and three 294-seat 787-9s. Three additional 787-9s are scheduled to be delivered by the end of May, with a fourth one to arrive by the end of 2019. LOT said the additional aircraft will boost capacity by 40%.<br/>
