Kenya Airways, Delta codeshare to open 15 North American routes

Kenya Airways and Delta Air Lines have signed a codeshare agreement that will open connectivity to 11 US and 4 Canadian cities. Kenya Airways Group MD and CE Sebastian Mikosz said the partnership will “open up opportunities for customers to access more destinations in North America through NY JFK.” Mikosz added that New York continues to be a strategic route for Kenya Airways, which launched in October 2018, a first of its kind in the (East African) region. Beginning in June, Kenya Airways will increase its frequency to JFK from 5X-weekly to daily. “The market has shown us extremely high seasonality. We are now back to daily, then we will return to 5X-weekly services after the high season,” Mikosz said. <br/>
