Delta pilot arrested for intoxication before flying out of MSP

A Delta Airlines pilot was arrested Tuesday morning for being intoxicated. He was scheduled to fly out of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International. A Delta spokesperson says the pilot was arrested shortly after 11 am. He was originally supposed to fly to San Diego from the Twin Cities. Before he went through security in Minneapolis, he noticed TSA officers were conducting additional screening, so he turned around and removed himself from the security line. Officers reported it to the Minneapolis Airport Police and they conducted 2 sobriety checks. One found he was under the influence of alcohol, and results from the second are still pending. According to the airport spokesperson, officers found the pilot was also in possession of an "alcoholic container." The spokesperson said it was a "bottle." <br/>
