Newly-delivered Ethiopian A350 damaged in ramp mishap
Ethiopian Airlines' newest Airbus A350-900 has been damaged by ground contact from a Turkish Airlines freighter at Kinshasa, less than eight weeks after delivery. Both aircraft arrived at the Democratic Republic of Congo's capital N'djili airport on 27 November. The Turkish A330-200F's right-hand winglet appears to have struck the A350's left-hand elevator, resulting in damage, images circulating on social media indicate. Ethiopian's aircraft (ET-AWO) had been formally handed over to the carrier on 4 October, Airbus's official records show.
