LOT sharpens US focus with Washington link
LOT will next year extend its US network with the launch of flights from Warsaw to Washington Dulles. The airline will operate the Dulles route 3 times per week from June 2 using Boeing 787s. “A direct flight from Warsaw to Washington DC has long been on our shortlist,” states LOT CE Rafal Milczarski. “New long-haul flights to the USA are the backbone of our strategy, and announcing the new connection to Washington now certainly is not our last word.” Washington will become the carrier’s sixth directly served destination in the US when the service launches. In October, LOT announced that it would begin serving San Francisco from Warsaw 4 times weekly in Aug. That will give the airline a seventh direct link with the country. LOT will also begin operating between Krakow and New York in summer 2020. <br/>
