Turkey will resume flights from the United Kingdom and Denmark, Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Eksi said on Wednesday. Eksi said on Twitter passengers will need to have a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the flight, citing a decision by authorities. Trans-Tasman travel bubble: Air NZ's first flight to Tasmania has landed

Passengers on Air New Zealand's first flight to Tasmania in more than two decades have been welcomed at Hobart Airport. Inaugural flight NZ197, which was about a third full, touched down just before 11am on Thursday, local time. Before taking off from Auckland, a karakia was performed at the boarding gate, before a stirring performance by the Modern Māori Quartet. It's been a historic week for travel, with the trans-Tasman bubble opening and Air New Zealand now starting a new route to the island state. Hobart is the ninth Australian destination the airline intends to operate quarantine-free flights with. Flights to Hobart will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, making it easy to head to Australia’s island state for a long weekend.<br/>
