Air New Zealand is resuming passenger services to Taiwan for the first time since the pandemic began. The airline has been operating two cargo-only services per week to Taipei in Taiwan since the start of June as part of the Government’s Maintaining International Air Connectivity (MIAC) scheme. But from August 4 it will begin flying one passenger service a month from Auckland-Taipei as part of the scheme. Economy fares for the non-stop flight start from $1138 one-way and customers will need to meet Government entry requirements both into Taiwan and Aotearoa.<br/>
