Aerolineas Argentinas resumes flights to Uruguay

As of September 14, after a year and a half, Argentina and Uruguay will once again be connected by air, according to information obtained by Aviacionline from Aerolineas Argentinas. Operations between Buenos Aires and Montevideo will be carried out every Tuesday and Friday in Embraer 190s, configured with 96 seats. Punta del Este will also have flights to Argentina, starting on September 16. This will mark the return of operations in an important market in the region. Prior to the pandemic, there were between 3 and 6 daily flights between Argentina and Uruguay, with Aerolineas Argentinas and Amaszonas Uruguay. As a consequence of the cease of operations of the Uruguayan airline at the end of last year, Aerolíneas Argentinas will be, for the time being, the only company operating between both countries.<br/>
