Singapore Airlines returns to Vancouver, increases flights to New York

Singapore Airlines is relaunching non-stop flights from New York's Newark Liberty International Airport to Singapore on March 28. The move is seen as a milestone as, buoyed by strong demand, it restores and, by June, exceeds its pre-pandemic flight frequency to North America. SIA's previous 57 weekly flights from the United States to Singapore were reduced to three during the pandemic, the company said. But by June, the airline will have rebuilt its network to operate 62 weekly services, including re-entry to the Canadian market after a 12-year absence, with flights to Vancouver. The Newark flight on March 28 kicks off the airline's largest-ever frequency in the New York City market, with three daily flights.<br/>
