Boeing 737 makes emergency landing shortly after take-off

A faulty wing flap forced a Boeing 737-800 to make an emergency landing shortly after take-off in the fourth incident for the aircraft maker in three days. United Airlines flight 166 took off from Fukuoka Airport in Japan late last week en route to Guam in the western Pacific. Minutes after take-off, the jet landed back at Fukuoka after a wing flap was found to be malfunctioning, The Independent reported. None of the 49 people on board, including 43 passengers and six crew members, were injured, but the airport was closed temporarily, Simple Flying reported. This is the latest in a series of incidents involving Boeing aircraft in recent days.<br/>
