EgyptAir expands Cairo-New Delhi service to daily flights amid strengthened Egyptian-Indian relations

EgyptAir, the national carrier of Egypt, is set to expand its Cairo-New Delhi service to daily flights, up from the current four flights per week. This enhancement comes as a result of the successful launch of the route last August and reflects the growing Egyptian-Indian relations at all levels. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Egypt last year, which further cemented the ties between the two nations, played a pivotal role in this expansion. Shortly after his visit, EgyptAir inaugurated its first direct flight from Cairo to New Delhi, marking a significant milestone in travel and cultural exchange between Egypt and India. “Since the launch of the direct flight last year, we have witnessed a notable increase in travel, business, and cultural exchanges between Egypt and India. This move to daily flights is set to further augment these ties,” said Amr Aly, Country Manager, EgyptAir.<br/>
