Lufthansa improves business class catering on short and medium-haul flights

Lufthansa has revamped its dining experience for business class customers on short and medium-haul flights of more than two hours in duration. The new meal choices were created by Austrian-born celebrity chef Johann Lafer (in partnership with Gate Gourmet and Lufthansa’s culinary teams), and will be offered inflight from 26 February. The number of meal choices has also been increased, with customers on routes with a flight time of “around two hours” being able to choose from “a wider range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian cold dishes”. Meanwhile those on services with a flight time of three hours or more will be able to choose between two hot dishes instead of the previous two.<br/>
