SAS to resume two routes to Beirut in June 2025

SAS Scandinavian Airlines has decided to restore flights to Beirut this summer. From June 6, 2025, passengers can expect up to five weekly departures from Stockholm and Copenhagen. The airline’s press release claims that “improving conditions” in the Middle East region enable it to resume services and allow travelers to visit their families and friends. SK will resume operations in Beirut after a temporary suspension in October 2023. As noted in the statement, this decision was subject to government approval. Air France reestablished its presence in Beirut, confirming the resumption of connections between Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Beirut as of February 1, 2025. The airline initially launched with five weekly flights, with plans to gradually return to its standard schedule of seven weekly flights. These services are operated using widebody aircraft - specifically the Airbus A350 and A330, a commitment to providing substantial capacity on this route. <br/>
