An investigation is underway in Serbia after US combat missiles were reportedly found on an Air Serbia passenger flight at Belgrade airport over the weekend. The 2 guided armour piercing missiles, armed with explosives warheads, were discovered by sniffer dogs after the Air Serbia aircraft had landed from Beirut, Lebanon Saturday. "We can confirm that a cargo consignment, being carried to an onward destination, was intercepted at Belgrade Airport [Saturday] as a result of stringent security screening measures. The airline is assisting with the investigation,” an Air Serbia spokesperson said. The AGM-114 Hellfire missiles were bound for an address in Portland Oregon. The American-made missiles can be fired from the air, at sea and on land. <br/>
