San Francisco-bound flight diverted after smoke in cabin
United says a flight from Los Angeles to San Francisco was diverted to Santa Barbara after smoke was reported in the passenger cabin following a mechanical problem. A United spokeswoman says Flight 460 landed without incident at Santa Barbara Municipal Airport around 7:20 p.m. Monday. All 140 passengers on the Airbus 320 were placed on other flights to San Francisco. No injuries were reported.<br/>
