Malaysia Airlines named Liverpool's global airline partner

Malaysia Airlines is now Liverpool Football Club's (LFC) official global airline partner, MAS CEO Peter Bellew and LFC's Chief Commercial Officer Billy Hogan announced in the Malaysian capital on Tuesday. The deal comprises a three-year partnership that MAS hopes will bring in more business, especially in China. "Additionally, the partnership will go a long way in increasing awareness of Malaysia, as a tourist destination, to a global audience," Bellew said. When asked if he had any concerns about working with the troubled national carrier, Hogan said there were "no concerns whatsoever" and that the club was "exceptionally proud". <br/>
