SIA unveils new lounge in Bangkok
SIA has opened a new, bigger lounge for premium passengers at Suvarnabhumi airport. With a floor space of 513 square metres, compared with 314 sq m at its previous location at the airport, the new lounge is located on Concourse D and has a seating capacity of 130. The new facility is part of SIA's ongoing multi-year programme to upgrade its airport lounges around the world to enhance the airline's appeal among premium passengers. Bangkok is the second city in Southeast Asia to see the new SilverKris lounge concept take shape. SIA did not disclose the cost for the Suvarnabhumi lounge but said it was designed by renowned architectural and interior design firm Ong&Ong. Philip Goh, VP Southeast Asia, said the SilverKris Lounge at Suvarnabhumi brings the "Home Away from Home" concept to Thailand. <br/>
